The Farmer and the Pig

A man is driving on a country road when he sees a farmer and a pig. The man pulls over to watch. The farmer is holding the pig in his arms, and periodically lifts it up so the pig can take a bite of an apple hanging from a tree.

The man gets out of the car and approaches the farmer. “Say, Farmer, I know it’s none of my business, but wouldn’t it save a lot of time if you just knocked a few apples onto the ground and let the pig eat them there?”

The farmer stares at the man as if he were insane and says, “What’s time to a pig?”
